19th Century Painted Counter with Zinc Top and Sink Northern France, Late 1800s This antique French island counter has a sink with bronze faucet and zinc top. Geometric in its design, with simple rectangular raised beveled panels and pilasters with diamond point capitals, it blends with any style. The back of the piece has two drawers, one with dividers, and three cabinet doors. The left two doors open to reveal one center shelf. The wooden frame has been recently painted and distressed with colors replicating wood in an overall neutral light wood color. This wonderful antique island or counter can be used as a bar, a kitchen island, or placed in a wine room. Condition: Previous Restorations, distressed rubs and nicks to paint and wood. H=36, W=65 1/2, D=32 1/2
