This piece is originally coming from a late 18th century House in the Ardeche area (South of France) and was inset into the wall of the kitchen, this is the reason only the façade is finished while the side are showing rough wood. This item consists of an upper section mounted with a pair of glass doors revealing a large storage compartment upon the buffet below providing a 3-drawer frieze upon a pair of recessed paneled doors offering additional storage. Note that one glass pane is still original. Several scratches and dents can be seen here and there on this rustic but appealing buffet. Circa date 1830. Dimensions 96 ¾high/ 57 ½wide/ 25 ¼deep.
