Here is an appealing Louis XV Style rococo painted mirror made from solid walnut by the end of the 19th century consisting of a serpentine shaped arched frame mounted by a pierced carved acanthus shaped cartouche surrounding the original beveled mirror. Note several minor dark spots and scratches can be seen on the mirror due to the age. Circa date 1880. Dimensions 43high/ 28wide.
