This is a unique bench from the Alsace region of France. The back of the bench is carved beech and the bottom and sides are in pine. The carvings are three birds of prey--an owl, an eagle and a falcon. The carvings are beautifully done and the bench is in excellent condition. The seat lifts for storage. This bench would be lovely in a hunting camp or country cottage.
