!9th century cup and saucer . Under the saucer it is marked Dawson's Philammon. The design on it is printed and after roughly hand coloured. No cracks in or chips off, but at the edge of the cup are 2 manufacture faults . Some people say it is porcelain, but for me it looks like pottery or maybe it is something between porcelain and pottery. Diameter of the saucer is 14.5 centimeter [5.7 inches]. The cup is 5.4 centimeter [2.1 inches] high. Diameter on top of the cup is 9.5 centimeter [3.7 inches]. Weight is 189 gram [6.66 ounces].
