19C Bronze Portrait Bust of a Woman by Arthur Kaan
Description: Antique Continental Patinated Bronze Portrait Bust of a Woman, Arthur Kaan, 19th Century. The sculpture depicts a head of a woman wearing a long cap with rosette. The piece is mounted on a painted wooden plinth/base. The piece is signed "A. Kaan" on reverse. Arthur Kaan (b. 1867), born in Vienna, Austria. Dimensions: Measures: 10-1/4 inches tall, 3 inch square base. (Box C in E) Condition: Some slight scratches to the patina and general wearing of patina overall. The bust rests on a wood plinth that is not firmly attached (base block is loose), and in poor condition at corners. Otherwise, the piece is in very good condition
