This Democrat donkey Deadweights paperweight was produced in 1988 by Terry Estvold, Inc. The set features a dead donkey paperweight in a ballot box. The donkey paperweight is on its back and on the top of the Hat it reads R.I.P. and is holding a flower in its mouth. The box is supposed to be a ballot box and the front reads “Official Democrat Stuffed Ballot Box” Deadweights TM (Election 88). The top the slot of the box reads “Don’t get buried by Paperwork, get Deadweights. The Paper – Trained Paperweights” and one side of the box has “Contents: One Donkey - Condition Filibustered”. The paperweight is approximately 1 ½” x 3 ¾” x1” and the ballot box is approximately 4 ¾” x 2 ½” x 2 ½”. It is in mint, never used condition. Thanks for looking!
