This numbered, cast bronze sculpture by Dan Hill of Sandy Utah is entitled "Best Run". Signed, dated "79" (1979) and numbered "4/35". This work is especially valuable because of its large size (roughly twice as large as his current casts of similar subjects), its limited run of 35 and its age. (It was completed just a few years after he began his career in the mid 1970s). It measures 23.5" high, 14.5" wide and 14.5" deep and weighs an estimated 25-30 lbs. Hill is represented by Dylon Art Gallery of Cave Creek AZ, Christine of Santa Fe, Santa Fe NM, and Zantman Art Galleries, Sun Valley ID. This item resides on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York and may be seen by appointment.
