This is a salesman's sample calendar, (Only one month shown), featuring an image of "The Gay Philosopher" The calendar was produced by the Brown & Bigelow co. The illustration is by Clair Fry. (The original artist to paint this loveable character was Henry Majors. Upon Majors' death, B&B contracted with Fry to continue the Gay Philosopher illustrations.
