1957 Kicky Vintage Mid-Century Ad- Coca-Cola is a Hit with Mahraja's Chic Guests India-themed Jack Potter Artwork. Colorful Splashy and Chic Original Vintage Mid-Century Ad taken from the back pages of a summer issue of Life Magazine. Jack Potter vivid and exciting imagery was features in a number of magnificent ads for Coca-Cola for a brief period of time- they ardently represent a new shift in the feeling of the country at this time- with their youthful appeal, dazzling colors and superbly cool settings. Here, Potter presents the unlikely setting of a party at the Maharaja's palace India where sophisticates and local dignitaries mingle and sip glasses of Coca-Cola. Note the beautiful sue of color and texture with Potter's inimitable brush-stroke. Potter was fantastically talented as a commercial artist but hung up his brush only a few years later to turn his talents to teaching other artists. Sadly only a handful of his fabulous Coca-Coal ads were ever created all of them well worth rediscovery. Ad measures 11 x 15 and is in crisp clean condition overall- will be fantastic on display!
