Unbelievable beautiful deluxe 1950s compact by Voupte, USA. Looks like black enamel on top and bottom separated by rich brass and a beautiful rhinestone decoration at locking closure. Push button lock. Long rectangular mirror on one side. Brass compartments with locks on opposite side for powder(w/puff), lipstick, and blush. Not much of the cosmetics left except for a beautiful bright pink blush. Compact is in very good condition. There are a couple things I need to mention as far as condition. There is a small ding on the bottom of the compact, there are slight surface scratches, 2 hinges on the back are silver(I am not sure if they are original or not), does have a nice pattinae to it,which I will not clean. Also, inside compartment of powder, if there was a lock it is no longer there. Locking other compartments work fine,mirror is perfect,main locking mechanism is very secure. Measures 1/2h x 1 1/2wx 4 inches in length. Shipping is $4.25 for 1st class,insured. A wonderful retro piece!
