1950s Vending Machine Cigarette Dispenser / Bank

Unavailable
1950s metal cigarette dispenser / bank, made to resemble a cigarette vending machine. This vintage item looks like it is made from chrome and/or nickel, and has a great retro look. The dispenser / bank has a domed, amber tinted plastic window with CIGARETTES in impressed lettering near the bottom. There is a slot for COINS on the front, although you only need to push the lever located in the coin slot to dispense a cigarette. The top part of the back swings open on a spring-loaded hinge for inserting cigarettes. The entire back comes off with one screw for easy access to coins in the bank. Engraved on the lower back is LESTERWARE in a semi-circle; underneath is PATENTED, BEDFORD HTS, OHIO. There is a textured pad on the bottom to keep the piece steady and stable. The dispenser / bank measures approximately 6.25 inches high, 4 inches wide, and 1.625 inches deep, not including the lever and the tray that catches the cigarettes; it weighs about 1.5 pounds. This piece is in very good condition, intact, with some surface wear. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition. Shipping / packaging will be $9.00.
