Collection of Old Wrestling Programs from the 1940's. Matches were held at the Akron Armory in Akron, Ohio on Saturday nights. Local advertising on the front cover as well as the inside page. Only 1 Program has a date which was Feburary 14, 1944. It appears all others are from this era. Most of the inside covers have a photo of a Wrestler (probably the main attraction) which includes names like Leo Savoldi, "Irish" McGee, Farmer Jones (on cover w/autograph), Whitey Wahlberg, "Dandy Dizzy" Davis, Dave Levin, Angelo Martinelli, Gil LaCrosse, The Swedish Angel, Mae Weston and Blimpy Levy. Some of Programs even have old Wrestling newspaper clippings with them. There is 19 Programs in all. Person with the lucky Program number even won a $25 War Bond. Some pencil marks to the Programs particularly some of the back covers where the Matches were listed. Programs measure about 5 1/2 x 9". Some wear but overall good condition. Great for anyone collecting early Wrestling items. Buyer to pay shipping & insurance.
