1940s Story book doll, this is a hand painted face plastic doll. The hair is a light brown. The outfit is original,and is nylon net and attatched to the doll with with a thumb tack. This doll has moveable arms and head. The feet are molded part of the body with painted white shoes and facial features are painted. Eyes work, are bright blue, and the doll stands fine. 7 3/4 inches, I don't consider this mint condition, as the dress has several small holes and the neting is a little discolored, and there are pin holes on the back from taking the clothes on and off with the thumbtack, but it is very nice and price is reduced, see photos.
