A wonderful vintage Black Americana collectible of a bisque baby or child eating watermelon while sitting on top of a red polka dot pin cushion. Wood base has "tree" made of twig and red ribbons. Measures 3 1/2" overall height. The original labels on the base edge are intact and read: Educational Souvenir Raleigh, N.C. Jos. Hollander Nov. Co. Baton Rouge, LA. Pat. Feb. 7 - 39 No. 113226. A fabulous Black Americana and vintage sewing collectible.
