Absolutely Incredible Original Vintage Deco Ad taken from the pages of a July, 1931 issue of Saturday Evening Post Magazine. Metallic Aluminum Paint graced many beautiful ad images during the earliest days of the sleek and sublimely sophisticated thirties. Splashed gorgeously across two brilliantly colorful pages, artist Clara Fargo Thomas gives us a wonderfully whimsical image to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Planter's Peanuts- the infamous "nickel lunch". An entire party filled with excited peanut-folk wedding guests marvel with delight as perennially convivial boulevardier, Mr. Peanut descends from a dazzling orange and yellow hot air balloon amidst a shower of silver fireworks and the bridal bouquet.
