1931 Dazzling Vintage Deco Ad- Don't forget to Write Vivid Vacation Letters Home on Sleek New Olive Green Royal Portable Typewriters! Absolutely Fantastic Original Vintage Art Deco Ad taken from the pages of a July 4, 1931 issue of Saturday Evening Post Magazine. Great graphic image full of stunning imaginative images all swirling around the new Royal Portable Typewriter in a glossy carrying case fitted in dark olive green. A family is seen in black and white with luggage on an angled dark green point admiring the machine of which helps each conjure the fabulous images of vacation thrills- to be written home on the Royal. All the images have a dreamy yet definitely cinematic quality to them- all the bases are covered from fishing to lazing about reading on a hammock, swimming, golfing, tennis, the beach, canoe rides and dancing under moonlit stars. Unknown artist had a wondrous ense of vitality and humor- note the expressions o contentment and glee on mom dad and their little boy who all look forward eagerly to their own ideal vacation. During the Art Deco era even the most mundane and ordinary office items were imbued with a sense of style and color. The Royal Typewriter seen here was also available in a splendid array of shades including royal blue, sky blue, rose pink, scarlet, brown and black. Ad is a perfect example of the glories of industrial and graphic artistry during the Deco Era. Ad is in crisp bright condition slightly darker than the scan- measures 11 x 15 and will be fabulous on display!
