A marvelous old 1930's Double Wedding Ring quilt. It measures 88 x 92". It is hand pieced and hand quilted with 14 stitches per inch. It is a deep gold yellow with peach and green four patch blocks and calico prints and some feedsaks prints in the rings. The back is muslin. This quilt has never been used or washed. It has an all cotton batting. It was made by a lady named Emma Gessert of Menomonee Falls, WI. It was stored away with a number of other quilts until her death several years ago when we purchased it from her estate.
