This is an original 1930 poster designed by Dean Jon (1900-1985) depicting the French singer and actress, Jane Marny. Poster measures 46.75" by 62.75" (118.7 cm by 159.4 cm). Printed by H. Chachoin of Paris. Water damage along the bottom edge but otherwise in very good condition. Professional restoration would be a wise investment. Marny was a leading French singer of the 1930s. She appeared in five movies, including Jean Anouilh’s “Cavalcade d’Amour” (1940), “La Fortune” (1931) and “Paris-Soleil” (1932). This item resides on the upper west side of Manhattan ( New York city ) and may be seen by appointment.
