1930 Dazzling Vintage Deco Ad- MGM Star Bessie Love is Beautiful in Glorious Early Technicolor Production Chasing Rainbows! Rarely Seen Original Vintage Deco Ad taken from the pages of an April, 1930 issue of Saturday Evening Post Magazine. Technicolor was billed and seen early on as the definite future of the film industry combining beauty and technology to create artistry. Here Bessie Love is seen in both black and white and color- and just note the difference! A entire list of productions from the top Hollywood studios can be seen which include Hells Angels, Hit the Deck, Sally, Vagabond King and Chasing Rainbows. Bessie can be seen in all the natural color glory of technicolor- note the elaborate costume in satin, sequins and furs the epitome of late twenties glamour. This is a rarely seen ad for the earliest versions of Technicolor processing- nearly a decade before the triumphs of Gone with the Wind and Wizard of Oz. Great bit of Hollywood film history! Ad measures 11 x 15 very bright and clean in person. Will make a fantastic addition to any decor.
