Wonderful Original Vintage Deco Ad taken from the pages of a May, 1929 issue of Ladies Home Journal Magazine. Using a peppy chatty yet informative lets discover nutrition, shall we manner, this fantastic ad offers advice, background and testimony all supporting the eating of bananas- for health, happiness and energy. Bottom portion of the ad features a charming modern flapper teacher instructing her young wards exactly how and when to eat the delightful banana while pointing to the location of the lush panoramic Costa Rican plantation where they are grown. When to eat them- when the skins are generously flecked with brown of course- also with other fruits, as light healthy deserts and between meals as they are a valuable energy-producing food loaded with vitamins and mineral salts. Great looking ad with lush gorgeous artwork to help promote what has remained one of the most popular fruit snacks to this day. Ad is in crisp clean bright condition and would be a sparkling addition to any dining area- or even a fun classroom image.
