In the style-conscious twenties every tiem had to have a bold and dramatic theme to present itself within. In this lovely and simple ad artists Robert Lawson sets the new Enchantment silverware design by Oneida Tudor Plate within a beautiful hushed gold, lavender and sapphire blue palace setting complete wiht frothing stone fountain with fanciful design of dragons and fish. Artist Lawson looked at all his commercial assignments as opportunities to hone his wonderfully sophisticated and highly imaginative creative style. This ad part of a small series he produced in a short time frame entrancingly captures his spirit of whimsy and mythology. Lawson went on the create the exceptionally popular award winning childeren's book, Rabbit Hill. Ad is done in hushed twilight tones of blues and purples trimmed in cold- simply stunning in person and a rare bit of artistry from Robert Lawson.
