Fantastically Glamorous Original Vintage Art Deco Ad take from the pages of an October, 1927 issue of Ladies Home Journal Magazine. Heavily influenced by European modernity and Hollywood-inspired fantasy auto design took on a sleek, elegant rakish look during the latter years of the twenties and every auto manufacturer in America dashed to create glorious vehicles suitable for the most discerningly chic clientele. This beautiful ad presents the new Dodge Four Town Car finished in a brilliant pastel laquer which gleams in tone sof emerald and lime with gray and lime shaded wheels to match. Dodge was determined to increase it's companies reputation as not merely a reliable form of transportation but a smart stylish motor that any woman of culture, refinement or social cachet would be thrilled to roll down the road in. Artist Weborg has given the auto great charm and distinction by setting it in an idyllic country setting complete with tree-shaded shadowy lavender background, lush fountain with elegant swan floating about and being plashed by a very moderne statue in a fountain that might have been designed by Renee Lalique.
