1926 Superb Vintage Deco Ad- Flapper Bathing Beauty and Handsome Beau reach for Refreshing Coca-Cola at the Pier! Absolutely Wonderful Original Vintage Deco Ad taken from the pages of a July 3, 1926 issue of Saturday Evening Post Magazine. Drink Coca-Cola Delicious and Refreshing- and the choice of daring flapper and their snappy gents everywhere! Bold dramatic and charming artwork is done in shades of red white and dark green- flapper dips her trim shapely legs- clad in rolled down white stocking and red beach shoes- into the water off the pier smiling as she holds out a bottle of ice-cold thirst-quenching Coca-Cola to a fit, young Johnny Weismueller type who smiles and reaches out a superbly muscled tanned arm for the treat. Great sense of fun mischief and good-natured flirtation in this somewhat rare ad. Marvelous artwork is unsigned yet certainly resembles the works of Fred Mizen who contributed a large majority of the images to the company at this time. Condition is good only- edgewear some slight tearing at the top above the words Sat Eve Post. Still one of the most engaging of the many ads done for Coca-Cola during the height of the Flapper Era! Note the motto for 26- It Had to be good to get where it is- 7 Million a Day. Measures 11 x 15- will enhance and liven up any decor! Perfection for bar or entertainment area of any home- even great to give your office a lift!
