This rare 1920s folk art hunter's cane combines several hunting motifs. The 14K gold knob handle with inlay at the top measures 1 inch x 1-1/4 in diameter. Along the length of the hardwood shaft are carvings in relief of deer, hunting dogs and a hunter with a rifle, a huntman on his horse blowing a hunting horn and fox hounds. The stick terminates in a one-inch metal tip. Overall length is 35-1/4 inches. This is a most unusual cane for the hunting enthusiast.
