A page and reverse from The War Illustrated a pictorial record of the conflict of nations. The War Illustrated was one of the most successful British war magazines published during the 1914-1919 conflict. Edited by J. A. Hammerton, it was a newly created title upon outbreak of war. These historical images are captured in drawing and photographs and would have been taken as history was made. Dated 1915. The size of each page is 11 x 8.5 inches (280 x 220) All are genuine copies and not modern reproductions.
