Obviously this author is an early debunker. It is such an interesting book and well written. The author has quite the sense of humor as well as insight into human nature. It includes information on seances and mind reading. It was a real delight to read. And an interesting tibit about seances..."The popularity of séances grew dramatically with the founding of the religion of Spiritualism in the mid-nineteenth century. Includes how fakery is performed as well as general how-to chapters The book has been used and still has its original cover. Other than a few bent piece on the cover, it is in very good shape for its age. No markings or writing on the inside.
