During the days of the Belle Epoque, many gifts for the holidays were carefully thought out and planned with a little inspiration from the sewing pages of magazines such as the infamous Ladies Home Journal. Here a splendid array of items is presented crafted simply out of colorful cretonne fabrics- including bookends, pin-trays, candy dish and boudoir set with handbag and mob-cap. Wonderful example of knitted and sewn handicrafts during the by-gone era. Page measures 12 x 16 and is in good overall condition with some slight aging to the edges. Will make a lovely addition to any decor- great gift idea as well!
