Victorian 9 karat yellow gold brooch in the form of a branch with three swallows set with graduated pearls,the tails and wingtips engraved. The back is hallmarked for Chester, England, 1911. There is also a maker's mark that appears to be "F&C".

Condition: all pearls are original; original pinstem with flange hinge; original c-catch; the underside of the back of the branch has a tiny "spur" (visible in the photo between the center bird and the right bird) that looks like it might have been a manufacturing flaw and there is a spot nearby (not visible from the front) that looks like another spur was filed off.

Size: 1-9/16" x 1/2".
