Antique 1904 Offical and Pictorial Record of the Story of American Expansion, Volume II, Crowning Achievements of the McKinley-Roosevelt Admininstration. This book was published under the name of General Marcus F. Wright of the U.S. War Records Office in Washington. The two-volume set sold for $16.99 in 1904 and was "sold by subscription only and will never be for sale in book stores." This wonderful and historic old book contains "over 1500 original illustrations by great artists, with original pictures taken of actual scenes by corps of correspondents and photographers." In the center of the book are two-page photographs and illustrations, including one of Teddy Roosevelt. The pages are on heavy stock paper and are filled with interesting images. This book is in fair to good condition. It needs to be re-bound because the front and back covers have become detached. The pages are general intact, clean, and crisp.
