You are looking at a beautiful early 1900’s beaded purse. This bag has a pretty gold tone filigree style frame with teal cabochon style beads inlaid in the front and surrounded by pink, purple, green and blue bezel set stones. It looks like the clasp has been reattached at some point. The bag is black and totally covered with multi colored beads. The inside was lined with bright green silk, some of the silk has disintegrated at this point but the trim and the silk on the back of the mirror and the coin purse are still intact. The coin purse and mirror are tethered to the inside of the bag. This is a very delicate beautiful purse. The original multi-link chain handle is still attached to the frame. There are some beads missing from the bag and the green silk is discolored in spots. This bag is very old and will not be perfect. I do not know the maker or exact date it was made. This purse measures 6 inches tall, 4 ¾ inches side to side and 1 inches front to back while closed. The purse measures 12 ½ inches tall including the arm chain. It weighs 2 pounds.
