An 18th Century Silver snuff box, 3" long, 1 1/18" deep, 2 1/8" wide, oval, chased overall with period designs on top, sides, and bottom. The box is hallmarked on the interior top, sides and bottom as seen in the photo. The condition is very good for its age, there are some slight dents including on the lid in the photo showing the hallmarks to the right of the hallmark the seam of the lid has separated in two spots. The interior was likely gold wash originally, the hinge is in very good working order. The hallmarks could be French, Dutch, German? The box is a beautiful little object for a collector.
