Please Take 50% Off The Featured Price. This is a beautiful Armoire made from solid cherry by the end of the 18th century and originally coming from Vendee. This elegantly simple piece is topped by a boldly sculpted chapeau de gendarme cornice sitting upon a straight façade featuring a pair of recessed paneled doors, highlighted by large escutcheons and mounted with long barrel hinges, revealing a large storage compartment with several shelves standing on a lovely scrolled apron on cabriole legs. Note several scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1790. Dimensions 88"high/ 48"wide/ 52"wide with crown/ 24"deep.
