This antique French Aubusson tapestry dates from the 1700’s. It has classic chateaux on a hillside in the background with various types of large and small birds occupying various portions of the scene. There is an abundance of trees, flowers and foliage throughout. Rich colors of shades of greens, creams, tans, browns, teals, blues, oranges, and ochres allow this tapestry to blend well with most color palettes. An ochre colored border surrounds this beautiful Aubusson. This tapestry will bring warmth to any room as well as a wonderful sense of French history.
