The façade is consisting of a large upper drawer trimmed by a groove upon the pair of recessed paneled doors revealing a large storage compartment with single shelf. This piece can be considered transition because while the main body with straight lines is the main trend of the Louis XVI time period, the scrolled apron with cabriole legs is a reminder of the previous Louis XV style. Note several scratches and dents can be seen here and there due to the age. Circa date 1780. Dimensions 40"high/ 46"wide/ 21"deep.
