An 18th century Dutch tin glaze tile depicting an Old Testament scene from Chapter 6 of the Book of Esther: Esther reading the chronicles to the king. The scene is decorated in manganese purple and the tile is in very good/excellent condition with minor edge nicks as shown; there is a slightly larger upper right corner nick and a pin-hole to the glaze, original to the tile, just above Esther's book. A beautiful example of this type. Please write with any questions you may have.
