A men's sapphire and gold dress set by BVLGARI, c. 1950s. The set consists of a pair of two sided circular cufflinks, gadrooned design inset with a circular cut sapphire in 18K gold. They are marked BVLGARI and have serial numbers. There are four studs, the 4th stud was custom made by James Robinson's "custom jeweler" at the time of purchase. The cufflinks measure 1/2" n diameter and the studs measure 7/16" in diameter. Total weight 23.2 grams. The sapphires are a magnificent deep cornflower blue. Condition is excellent.
