This desk dates to the late 1800 or early 1900's and utilizes pin and cove joinery to construct the drawers. Pin and cove joints were extremely popular in the 1880's and 1890's. This piece features a carved front , fancy back plate and bail drawer pulls, and pull out desk supports. There are three large drawers. Inside the desk there are 2 small drawers and 6 storage compartments. This is a great desk for someone without a lot of space. It measures 40'' tall 30 1/2'' wide and is 17'' deep at its largest point. There is some wear from use, but it is in decent condition. The desk is sturdy and weighs 50 to 65 pounds.
