About The Poster: Chicoree Casiez-Bourgeois was a major producer in late 19th century France. The company produced wonderful labels and small advertisements for their evidently popular chicoree. In fact, the Musée de la civilisation de l'Europe et de la méditéranée in Marseille. This series was inspired by various popular "chansons", such as Un astronome audacieux, Mon ami pierrot, Le valet de chambre de madame. We purchased several pieces from the series, all have been matted and are in very good condition.
