Document includes particulars of the apprehension of deserted private who died in confinement only 8 days after he was apprehended. Muster includes a lengthy letter detailing events that occurred while patrolling the Texas Frontier. Muster Roll contains signatures or "X" marks of 60 men - 43 privates, 4 corporals, 6 sergeants, 2 musicians, 2 artificers and 3 commissioned officers. 32"X20" document in very good condition.
