This is a fabulous museum piece Norwegian Trunk dated 1856 and in wonderful condition.It measures 50" across the top and stands 25" tall.It has two drawers on the bottom and lots of painting inside.I purchased this at a farm auction here in the area where I live in Wisconsin and have had it in my home.I do not know alot about trunks but had a very nice lady at the auction who told me some info about it.It has wonderful hand-forged handles and iron straps.It is unusual as it has what looks like bulls eyes on the front and also the ends.I do not have the key for it.As you can see I have stored quilts in it.I have many more pictures of it so if you want more pictures I would be happy to e-mail them to you.This is a VERY heavy piece and must be picked up at our shop.I will not take the chance of it getting ruined by shipping it as this is a wonderful piece of History.
