A wonderful wooden carving of a ship in the ocean. On the bottom in a banner are the words 1851 CHALLENGE 1876. This piece is within a frame and ready to hang. There is a hole in the back to hang it with. I'm not a wood expert but I believe the wood to be oak(?) but do not guarantee it. The carving is deep and beautiful with the grain showing through. This piece mesures 6 1/4"w x 8 3/8"l. It is in excellent condition except for a couple of marks and 2 small holes on the back. No signature. Hand carved. Absolutely beautiful. PRICE REDUCED. Was $150
