Walnut stock with carved line decoration and repeated stamped quatrefoils. Carved geometric pattern around trigger mortise. Butt cap an old restoration. Scattered worming, but sound. Forged steel bow, no string. Two turned posts support front bead site. Forged iron mechanism with spring mounted trigger, in good working order. Iron parts cleaned over light pitting. Stock shows dents and scuffs commensurate with age and use. Length 29 ½", width 22 ½.
