1723 William Woods Hibernia Halfpenny 2nd Prototype, Large Head, Large 3, 11 Harp Strings. Pleasing mellow brown with tings of an old cleaning maybe 100 years ago but starting to retone. Breen#150. Nelson-5 variety and either Martin 3-Gc or 4-Gc. Two dotes reverse. 2010 Redbook EF $350 and AU $550. Bowers Encyclopedia of Colonial and Early American Coins page 289, variety W-13120. I own a few of these and this coin is one of the nicest examples.
