15K English brooch with an oval cabochon cut carnelian. The brooch measures approximately 2 inches long and 1.37 inches top to bottom. The scrolled detail is interesting and the stipple finish on the base creates a nice contrast. There is a hand engraved pattern around the edges. The pin stem is sturdy and closes with a scrolled hook.
