This is a wonderful set of solid mahogany formal dining chairs in a simplistic country Chippendale design that dates from the 1890s-1900s. The set consists of two arm chairs and four side chairs, which have all had a clear coat of semi-gloss lacquer applied to the top to remove the nicks and dings and to brighten the finish. The seats have been recently recovered in a silver/beige suede-type fabric that looks stunning against the color of the chairs. This style of chair is getting harder and harder to find, and we’re lucky to be able to offer them to you. The overall size of the side chairs is 20 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 39 inches high, and 19 inches to the seat. The arm chairs are 22 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 39 inches high, and 19.5 inches to the seat. They’re all tight and sturdy, with a one-piece flared back leg, a country Chippendale front leg, solid H mahogany cross-stretchers, and they are all ready to go in the home. Also, don’t forget to take a look around the rest of the site, and remember that we give a generous freight discount when you purchase multiple items from our site. Call 1.207.314.9621 for details.
