This is a very, very rare item to find in the antique world. It is a set of not four, not six, but EIGHT original matching Victorian burl walnut dining chairs dating from the 1880’s that consists of seven side chairs and one master chair. This entire set has been all stripped, re-glued, sanded, stained and refinished in a medium walnut stain, and the seats padded and reupholstered in a wine-colored crushed velour fabric. They have unusual spindles on the front, detailed cutout spindles on the back, and triple slats with a star incorporated on each slat. The crest on each chair has matched burl walnut panels that also have a star in the center of burl walnut. The overall size of each side chairs is 19 inches wide, 16 inches deep, 36 inches high, and 19 inches high to the seat. The armchair, across the seat, is 20 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 38 inches high to the crest, and 19 inches high to the seat. We have a square walnut dining room table in stock right now that would match these chairs perfectly, as well as a round Victorian burl walnut banquet table. Please check to make sure they are still available, and remember that we give a generous freight discount when you purchase multiple items from our site. Call 1-800-553-3269 for details.
