This mid Victorian 14kt solid gold ( 6 grams) and persian turquoise brooch was made to hold a pocketwatch or a locket. Dates prior to the 1920 era and has beautiful ornate metal work on the bow. The pin is marked 14k and it measures 1 1/4" across and is in great shape. This is a high quality piece with a most unusual safety clasp. You tell this was well taken care of and has a nice aura about it. Probably would have been a sweetheart piece.
