14K yellow gold antique Victorian locket on 14K yellow gold antique link chain. Made sometime around 1880 the shield shaped locket is beautifully detailed, featuring granulation, twisted wire accents and 4 seed pearls. The locket measures approximately 54mm top to bottom including the bail and 25mm across or 2 inches x 1 inch. The top section opens to reveal an oval locket section. The locket has both matte and shiny surfaces - beautiful condition!! The locket hangs from an 18" oval link 14K yellow gold chain with braided rope accents. Beautiful antique piece! Total weight 18.8dwt.
