To me, it is reminiscent of a rooster's cocks comb. In any event it is a lovely and very different ring.
The ring is a size 7 to 7 1/4. The pearls are all approximately 6-7 mm. Measuring from the of the highest pearl to the base of the 1/2 disc mounting it is 9mm.
The pearlS are all in excellent shape. 2 of pearls have a natural blister but that is a product of nature and not considered damage. All the pearls have remarkable high luster. Lovely array of colors illuminate from them. The gold is in excellent shape. I doubt if this ring has ever been worn!
